An Outlook error is reported during the client setup.

If this error is reported during the WorkgroupShare client setup after selecting the user account and entering the password, then this is most likely to relate to other add-ins installed into Outlook. It occurs because Outlook is not responding correctly when the setup tries to view the list of folders that can be shared.

Check to see if other add-ins (such as Outlook backup, PGP or a PDA synchronization program) are installed into Outlook. You may see other entries in the COM Addins page of Outlook (Tools, Options, Other, Advanced options, COM Add-ins). If so, disable the other add-ins and re-run the setup program. Once setup has completed successfully these add-ins can be re-enabled.

If this does not help to resolve the issue then please download and upgrade to WorkgroupShare v1.5 (or later) from http://www.workgroupshare.com/download.asp. This version has the ability to skip the part of setup that queries Outlook. Once setup is complete you can then open Outlook and share folders by clicking Tools, Share, Settings.
